Professor Smith Meets with Kretz Lumber

On Monday, Bob Smith, Associate Dean and Professor of Wood Products at Virginia Tech University, met with the staff at Kretz Lumber.  Smith has an extensive background in wood products marketing and management.  He has worked closely with industry and industry associations for more than 25 years.

Dean Smith is in Wisconsin for a national meeting and is taking time to tour and meet with industry representatives in the state.  During his visit, Kretz management had the opportunity to discuss current market opportunities, both domestic and international.  As a part of his visit, Professor Smith offered advice and assistance to Tim Kassis, Kretz Lumber’s Sales Manager.
