Kiln Dried Lumber

Kretz currently operates 13 dry kilns, with a capacity in excess of 13 million board feet annually. Experienced kiln operators follow time-tested schedules to produce high quality lumber – free of stain, sticker-shadow, and other drying concerns. Kretz Hard and Soft Maple are the whitest in the industry. Our dry products supply domestic and international distribution yards, cabinetmakers, flooring manufactures, millwork producers, window and door manufactures, furniture makers, and many other specialty markets.

Green Lumber

Kretz is an industry leader in manufacturing green and kiln dried lumber. Founded in 1929, Kretz sawmills produce more than 18 million board feet of lumber annually. Sawing 4/4 through 12/4 thicknesses in random widths and lengths, our mills specialize in white hard and soft maple, as well as other northern hardwood species. Our off-site facilities provide custom sawing services for customers in specialty markets. Our green products supply concentration yards, pallet manufactures, sawdust processors, paper manufactures, and landscapers.
