Aspen
Aspen is a soft hardwood that is workable yet durable. It is light colored with a grayish-white to a light grayish-brown color. It is perfect for pallets, crating, panel products, and boxes as well as millwork and furniture.
Basswood
Basswood has a uniform texture and indistinct grain. It is easily sanded and stained and is a lightweight yet strong building material. It is ideal for window blinds, turning, furniture, molding, and carving.
Red Oak
